The last couple of years have served up many lessons, not the least of which is that life can change in an instant. Conflict drains and stagnates us. Stop wasting your precious time and energy. Put your dispute to bed using online mediation, and make room for the more important things in your life.
Virtual Mediation Minnesota would be honored to help you resolve your dispute so you can move past the conflict, and reclaim your time and energy.
Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution. Specifically, mediation is a means of resolving disputes between conflicting parties outside of the judicial system, usually under the guidance and supervision of a trained intermediary, to promote reconciliation, settlement, or compromise.
At Virtual Mediation Minnesota, the outcome of mediation is determined by the parties. Your mediator, Sarah Fisher-Otten, is impartial, and does not make any findings or rulings. Instead, she will facilitate communication between the mediating parties, and help them craft a mutually-agreeable resolution to their dispute.
When you use Virtual Mediation Minnesota, you can choose to all mediate in the same Zoom room, or in separate breakout rooms. In either case, you can expect to be listened to and treated with respect.
Virtual Mediation Minnesota strives to keep things easy. As our name implies, all of our mediations are online. Our mediation fee is $800 per party for a 4-hour remote mediation session, and pre-mediation preparation. Simply choose your mediation date, pay your mediation fee, and show up! Schedule your virtual mediation below.
Sarah Fisher-Otten has completed the training necessary to be designated by the Minnesota Supreme Court as a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114, meaning she can serve as a mediator or arbitrator. Sarah operates Virtual Mediation Minnesota as part of her practice at Fisher Law Firm, PLLC.
Sarah has also spent time on the other side of the table, participating in mediation and arbitration as a lawyer advocating on behalf of her clients. She is licensed to practice law in Minnesota state and federal courts, having earned her Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN in 2006. She completed her undergraduate education at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in 2001.
A native of Duluth, Minnesota, Sarah now lives in Eden Prairie where she enjoys walking the area's many trails with her husband and young daughter. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has a great sense of humor.
Due to the nuances of family law, Virtual Mediation Minnesota does not typically mediate family law cases. We happily mediate all other types of civil disputes, regardless of whether a case has been filed in court. Sarah's professional experience includes real estate, landlord/tenant, debt collection, mechanic's liens, construction, and commercial litigation matters.
